Derek Blunt has written four volumes about the history of the manors and landed estates in Northamptonshire since the time of William the Conqueror entitled MANORS MAKETH MAN.
Each covers a separate area of the county and the first volume will be released shortly covering all the parishes in South Northants. He hopes the book will be of interest to those who understand and value the
importance of appreciating and learning about Northamptonshire’s incredible significance in the history of our country.
The South Northants hardback book (over 280 pages) ISBN Number 978-1-5272-5370-4 illustrated with his own sketches is a limited edition (all numbered and signed by him) and will be on sale for £20 to include postage/delivery.
The second volume covering Daventry District is well on the way to completion and will be available in 2021.
