Job Club recruitment fair in Towcester has 30 vacancies to fill

South Northamptonshire Job Club is holding a recruitment fair at Towcester Town Hall on Tuesday, 24 January, to fill 30 local vacancies.

The vacancies are with Home Instead, a local care provider, which is looking to recruit 30 care givers before summer this year. Jobseekers will have the opportunity to meet representatives from Home Instead at the event and find out more about the jobs on offer.

The recruitment fair will start at 11.30am, as part of the normal Towcester Job Club session, and will continue until 2.30pm.

The Job Club team will be on hand during this time with their Job Match service, helping to match jobseekers with vacancies and increase their chances of securing a role.

Cllr Rupert Fordham, South Northamptonshire Council’s portfolio holder for community regeneration, said: “The council is committed to the Job Club and it's proved to be the right decision. The Job Club continues to play a positive role in keeping unemployment down and helping jobseekers into work.”

The SNC Job Clubs provide free and confidential support and advice from partner organisations as well as a wide range of job opportunities, with some employers advertising exclusively through the Job Club itself. Since the council started putting on the Job Clubs, more than 1,100 visits have been made to the regular sessions and 75 people have been supported back to work.
