Surveys To Be Returned
Residents of the parish of Helmdon have been reminded that
their surveys for the Parish plans are due to be collected
this weekend.
The questionnaires were given out two weeks ago for people
living in Helmdon and its surrounding villages to share their
thoughts on the facilities available to them.
Already the questionnaires have received an excellent response
from residents, with a few handed in during the first few
days of the exercise.
With questions such as 'do you use the bus service', 'should
there be more houses in the village' and 'what do you think
of the atmosphere in the village' there are no wrong answers
and everyone is encouraged to share their opinions.
The results will be analysed over the coming weeks and reported
back in the summer as part of the completed parish plan.
The surveys follow on from the success of the Future Needs
Day held at Helmdon Primary School last Summer as part of
the government's Vital Villages programme for which Helmdon
was awarded £4,000 last year.
