Helmdon Grab Victory Over Marston B

Billiards:  At the halfway stage of the season in the Croughton & District League, Adstone maintained their position at the head of affairs thanks to a  4-1 victory over Foxhill.

Helmdon kept up the trend of 4 – 1 wins when getting the better of Marston B.  Maurice Sterne won for the latter but a hat trick of wins from Tony Wilson, Michael Ayres and Geoff Crook ensured a comfortable win
