EASTER EGG HUNT A BIG SUCCESS

Children who took part in the Easter Egg Hunt at Manor Farm, Helmdon, last week, waved their chocolate trophies triumphantly.

Organised by the newly-formed Helmdon Young Mothers’ Club, the hunt was divided into two sections – those children aged under five years and those above.

“We organized it for the children because there wasn’t much for them to do during the Easter Holidays,” said Mrs Elizabeth Humphrey, chairman of the Young Wives’ Club.  “About 14 children took part and there were lots of eggs”.
