HELMDON CLINCH THE CROWN

Helmdon A are the new Croughton & District League champions.

Their 4-1 win against Overthorpe B was good enough to clinch the crown as nearest rivals Marston could only beat Foxhill 3-2.

It gave Helmdon the title by a single point.

Tony Williams, Howard Jessett, and Geoff Watson were the Helmdon winners with Paul Reeve replying for Overthorpe.
