HELMDON PLAYERS’ PANTO IS MAGIC
Widow Twankey’s washing line was hung out this week as Aladdin’s lamp brought the magic of pantomime to life.
And although just a small village, Helmdon has proved it is big on talent when it comes to staging a bit of festive fun.
It is only the second year the Bridge Players have put on a pantomime.
Last year the chose Cinderella for the debut performance and it was such a hit they decided to go for more.
The curtain rises on Aladdin on Wednesday at the Baptist Church Hal in Helmdon and will run until tomorrow (Saturday).
