PUB REGULARS BOOST COTTAGE HOSPITAL
Regulars at the Bell Inn pub in Helmdon handed over a cheque for more than £500 to Brackley Cottage Hospital on Wednesday.
Bill England and nine other keen cyclists from the pub were sponsored to cycle around 100 miles in the Cotswold Hills towards Bourton on the Water to raise the money.
The nine keen cyclists have been cycling together at the weekend for some time.
They decided to take up the charity challenge this summer.
Bill England said: “I’ve only been cycling for about two months so this was a real challenge for me. It was great. I’d definitely do it again.”
The cheque was presented to three trustees from the Brackley Cottage Hospital at the Bell Inn pub in Helmdon last Wednesday.
